What is the admission process?

The first step is registration for admission by submitting the completed admission form available on the website. Kindly check the Admission page for the complete process and guidelines.

What is the duration of the written test?

Kindly check Written Test Details under the Admission section of the website for the class-wise written test information.

How many students are there in a class?

Each class will have an average of 25 to 30 students, helping the school maintain better individual attention and classroom interaction.

What are the fees and when are they payable?

The fee has to be paid in one installment before the end of February every year.

How are the fees to be paid?

The fee may be paid by Demand Draft, NEFT, or online transaction as instructed by the school office.

Is Sriguru International Public School (SIPS) a day boarding school?

SIPS is a day school. The school does not provide breakfast and lunch.

What is the academic calendar?

The academic calendar is from June to March. The detailed calendar will be shared through the school communication channels and website updates.

Where will we get uniforms?

Uniforms will be organized through authorised uniform dealer(s). Please check Dress Code for Students under the School section of the website.

What are the school timings?

For Class I and above, classes begin at 8:15 am and end at 3:00 pm. For Montessori Seniors and KG II, classes begin at 9:15 am and end at 3:00 pm. For Montessori Beginners, Montessori Juniors and KG I, classes begin at 9:15 am and end at 12:45 pm. Lunch break is half an hour, with a short morning break.

Are text books and notebooks provided by the school?

The school will facilitate study materials, textbooks, notebooks and related materials to help parents avoid unnecessary difficulty in sourcing books.

When will we get books?

Books will be issued before school commences. In case of delay in the consignment of some books, the same will be issued to the students after school begins.

What are the timings for co-scholastic and extra-curricular activities?

Co-scholastic activities are included in the daily timetable.

When can we visit the campus?

As SIPS is a fully functional school, campus tours for parents and visitors may be limited for security reasons. Please contact the school office for any visit-related guidance.

Does the school provide transport facility?

The school has appointed a reputed transport contractor to extend transport support to students. Route details and availability may be confirmed with the school office.

What are the vacation schedules?

April first to third week of May is the summer break. Dasara vacations are generally in September/October and winter vacations in December. The actual number of holidays for the academic year will be mentioned in the school almanac.

What documents are required for admission?

Documents generally include birth certificate, transfer certificate where applicable, previous academic records, passport-size photographs, address proof and other documents requested by the admissions office.

Which curriculum does SIPS follow?

SIPS follows a balanced academic approach with emphasis on scholastic learning, values, creativity, life skills and holistic development.

How can parents communicate with the school?

Parents may communicate through the school office, official email, scheduled meetings, circulars and school communication channels.

Is safety and security maintained on campus?

The school gives importance to student safety, supervision, secure campus practices and responsible movement of students during school hours.

Admission to SIPS is open to all eligible students, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, region, socioeconomic background, or gender.

Once you feel that SIPS is the right place for your child’s educational journey, you may proceed with the registration process as outlined below.

Written Test (Where Applicable)

Applicants for Grade I and below are generally not required to attend a written test. Applicants for Grade II and above may be required to attend a written test after the application has been reviewed by the Admissions Office.
